Short

so today i got a bit pissed off, i have a night class til 8:20, which still gives me 30 min to run and do weights. wellll this stupid girl in my class never shuts up so once again we got out late and i could only run for 15 min. cause our gym closes at 9. but anyyywhoo, i thought i would at least make the best out of it, so i ran hard for 15 min. at 12 min i had hit a mile. and at the end of the 15 min i was at 1.32 miles. so i feel good about that. i cut about 4ish minutes off my mile. yipppee.
eating is going okay. didnt get breakfast in today cause i totally overslept. didnt even get to class ha. oh well. im going to try harder tomorrow to eat better.

Awesomeeee

so im am SO proud of myself. today i went to our 'gym' (its a dorm room with some equipment in it lol) and i ran 2 miles in 30 minutes!! and i dont feel like i am going to die! then i did the usual..crunches, weights, etc.. its awesome to be able to push myself within the first few days. added on to my list of what i ate today (down below) i had some peaches and a pb and j. and just keep drinking water. wooooo. this is so exciting. my friend kelly (from facebook) is also doing the same thing.. check out her blog too!! we long distance workout partners lol

SCHOOL/ARTWORK:
i know i said i would update with photos but i still need to edit them. and watermark my own artwork so ill get on that later. but today we just continued making our clothes out of paper and spray painting them. so nothing really new. i have art history and writing and foundations tomorrow... i would highly recommend going an art school or looking into it. check out our website kcai.edu students work is constantly updated (upperclassmen) but its great. really chill and i just can't tell you how much i really love it.

okay so this should technically be in the first post.. but whavtever..

here are my before pictures, im not obese, there is just some extra unwanted stuff going on. ha, so i plan on toning up my tummy and defining my arms and butt. (gotta have a nice booty) and then just all around healthier body. i still need to go running tonight but food wise i have done fairly well today.

Day Three

okay
so today was my third day of working out and trying to eat better. the past two days i haven't done much with my diet. and when i ran i would run for 30 min and that got me to 1 1/2 miles. wellllll today i wanted to see how i could really do if i tried. so usually i run at about a 3.5-4 (on the treadmill) so today i upped it to about 4-5 and that got me at a regular running pace. i tracked where i was at when i hit 1 1/2 miles and it was only 23 minutes in! i know that isn't anything spectacular but considering i smoke on a regular basis and have not worked out for a good year, i am really proud of myself!! i also am starting to feel my body wanted better foods. the chips and fries just don't sound good to me anymore. i also found myself naturally waking up a bit earlier this morning and sleeping easier at night. i can't wait to see where this takes me. 

SCHOOL:
currently in my foundations class we are using clothing patterns and making clothes out of regular brown paper. and we have to present them in a unique way. we also are allowed to design the outfits, doing something different unexpected. these outfits are going to be in a parade in november i think. i cant wait to see what everyones outfits will look like. i really am enjoying this whole college thing. art school is up there on best things in life. no math classes, science, bull crap stuff. although the food could be soooo much better. you would think for 40,000+ a year they could give you real food.. but nope. oh well. it'll help with weight loss (just kidding, i know you have to eat to be healthy)

Blogger V-Card

so this is my first time bloggin'
sweet

my main reason for starting a blog was so that i can track my personal progress through working out. i want to start a fitness journal and i figured what a better way than to blog. so daily i will be talking about my eating habits and how i am feeling that day and just randoms. and then about every other week, i think, ill be posting pictures of my progress. i took some 'before' pictures today and well see where i am in a few weeks. 

i am really excited to actually be doing this. i have always wanted to get in shape and now i feel motivated enough to really do it. so any support would be awesome. also tips on workouts or eating habits, healthy foods so on, i am more than happy to hear about!

also, i currently go to Kansas City Art Institute here in Missouri. i will be posting pictures of my, and other students, work. and i will be talking about the college life as an art student and just random happenings around campus. i also sell artwork and will be posting pictures soon and hopefully setting up my own website!!
